Default Why only release a particular season? for instance "Rescue Me" S3

I want to buy Rescue Me on blu-ray but noticed that its only available for season 3, why is that? I cant really grasp why just one season is released. Kinda feels like selling a pair of shoes and only one will have shoe laces.

Please someone explain to me and are there other seasons on blu-ray, Id like the whole collection.

Sincerely,
P

They think selling the new seasons without selling the first is somehow logical...

Anyways, love the show. It deserves to be in Blu.

well it's not the highest rated show... but if The Damages can be on Blu it should to.

I'd say Rescue Me is FX's best show.

i mean come on, seriously, but still...u made a season 3 blu-ray why not 1-2 and 4? why 3? lol, doesnt make sense... they used like different cams on the recording on s3 that shows best on blu-ray or what?

anyhow, there are faaaaaaaaaaaar more worse shows than rescue, my personal opinion is that the shield and rescue me are the best series ever, and none of em are on BR. Highlander on blu-ray lol.....there are faaaaar more worse shows

I agree. I see NO reason to release anything other than the entire series of a particular show on blu-ray. Otherwise, why bother...????

I agree. A couple examples of this would be Prison Break (Season 2 still not released on BD) and Lost (Seasons 1 and 2 are still absent). It would make way more sense to release them all, especially considering many people will buy them who are fans of the show.

Maybe they will wait for the show to be over to release them all?

One of the reasons I am waiting before buying Lost on BD, I want all of them on BD.

I had never seen Nip/ Tuck before I had a hunch and bought season 4 in Blu.

Now I'm hooked and I can't get my fix.

I believe S3 of Recue Me sold very poorly on blu-ray, that is what lead to S4 not being offered.

As for current seasons being offered and older ones not is comes down to cost and time to produce the disc v. expected sales. I would check out Jeff's "Ask the Digitalbits" insider thread as he as gone into a little more detail with this question in that thread.

If you liked season 4 you're lucky. The first seasons are way better.
