Olive is supposed to show good judgement in selecting movies that preferably should be up to a certain standard with regard to both the quality of the movie and the quality of the presentation. So far it looks like they failed to do that by releasing a visually compromised version of a movie that is not very popular outside of its claim to fame of being a movie that was shot in ultrawide large format and presented in cinerama theaters. Others may find a scope presentation from a 35mm element oK but I cannot really be happy about such a presentation in 2018. |
