sorry, I find it amusing when people can't even decide something as simple as what movie they want to see for themselves.

in reality you don't really care what people will say, do you? you will decide on your own anyway so this thread is just to get some attention.

is it so difficult to read a few short descriptions about each movie online or watch a trailer and then decide for yourself? everyone has their own very specific tastes.

please start a thread about which pants you should wear tomorrow so we can all weigh in on the subject and provide pics as well so I can vote accurately

Looks like you have posted polls in the past. Why do you care what other people think?

I just wanted opinions on the movie, thats all. No need for you to come in here and spew your garbage and insults.

There are other members on this forum that gave their opinion in my thread without a problem, but you seem to feel the need to come in here and post your unconstructive criticism of my thread.

There are 1,000,000,000 threads that ask what movies people buy, sell, trade, and watch. That is one of the main reasons this forum is here, so that members can share their opinions in a constructive way.

If you don't like it, leave.

If you can stand bad acting on behalf of non-actors, go see Gran Torino. Eastwood is great. Milk was also very good. Benjamin Button is long & slow (I still really liked it), so you may need to be in a certain mood to actually wanna see it.

LOL. Good one, T-Bag!

As for the movies, I would recommend the only one that has a "real" actor in it, and that's Gran Torino with Clint. My opinion, of course.

I would rather see Gran Torino first, because I will be assured a good time.

You would be doing yourself an incredible disservice by not seeing slumdog millionaire.

Saw Gran Torino last night, it was good but not spectacular. Honestly some of the worst acting i've EVER seen in a major motion picture of its caliber. It was so much more of a special interest piece then an entertaining-bad-ass-picture I thought it was going to be. 7/10.

Slumdog, on the other hand, just- ... I don't know. Just outstanding. Absolutely outstanding.

I can't agree more, it was mainly the priest among others, Christopher Carley's acting, that I couldn't stand. But the movie was great.
