You're not waiting for them...... you're asking for them.

That being said.... any gun owner who does leave their guns unsecured so that any child can get a hold of them and accidentally or on purpose kill themselves or someone else... should absolutely be charged with negligent homicide. You hear these stories all the time about how a young kid finds a gun in the closet floor and kills himself or a sibling..... and the parents never get charged for their own stupid neglect. "Oh..... losing their child was punishment enough." Horse crap!

Maybe I'm wrong..... maybe the teen himself was a licensed gun owner.... but if he wasn't.... whomever did own the gun should be charged as well.... if the gun was not properly secured.
