I thought the second season was great, especially as it started exploring Riggs's past and getting into the stuff with his dad. Would hate to see it end but if by some miracle they keep it with Clayne, I wonder how much bad blood there will be from the way they've apparently treated him. Like, at this point, I wonder if he'd even want to stay and have the same amount of enthusiasm for the show/role after what they've put him through, or if they could find some way to bury the hatchet and start fresh.

A report claimed he was creating a hostile working environment for cast and crew, and had already been reprimanded several times by the network. Crawford says the story was exaggerated and that he doesn't even know who supposedly started the rumors that he was causing problems, and explained his side in this post on his Instagram.
