That's what I'm hoping. With the blue/cyan being highly saturated I could see the issues might be a bit worse when converted to a smaller gamut (and 8 bit.)

With the UHD? Yes, the BD is the new master.

Love the new colour grading. Just looks phenomenal. Not too much Green, but not all gone.

I like the color timing of the new BD even though some of the highlights are blown, it's still way better than the old disc. The color on the old disc just looks awful IMO. The greater detail and grain structure of the new is very nice as well.

Very nice, looks like this will be the first UHD I buy. Why couldn't Fox do this with Die Hard?

Trinity vs. truck shot. Detail is amazing.
Also look at that crispness of the composed shot of Neo and Morpheus jumping at each other. Impressive. Difference almost like between DVD and BD.

But wasn't some of reviewers saying that Matrix the new standard BD disc has filtering that is not seen in the UHD package.

That was some time investing there, a little break.

Blu-ray.com is also working on a review on the regular remastered Blu-ray. More screenshots to compare then.

The remastered regular Blu-ray hits 21.99 Mbps avg on bitrate. Wish it was higher.

Gotta say I prefer the old coloring for the "Matrix" scenes in most shots. However, glad the skin-tones are no longer drained in the real world.
