Here's my quick review after having played around with it for a while.

First thing I noticed...this receiver is HUGE, it's one big mothaf#@ka. And heavy to boot. I will have to "hack" my a/v stand so that it fits

Setup was quick and easy, pretty straight forward but then again I'm not someone who has trouble setting a VCR to record (am I showing my age?). Ergo, I'm not technology challenged and rarely need to refer to the manual.

It sounds great paired with my Athena speakers. And it is nice to see I can dim the display or turn it off completely along with the light around the volume knob. The remote is huge too, but the buttons are properly laid out and the light button is easy to find (right on the side). The power cord is thick and solid...usually indicates proper transfer of current and well insulated. Although I find the connection with receiver and power cord is not snug enough.

It does get hot, but I wouldn't say its out of the ordinary. You can also enter custom labels for inputs...such as "Blu-Ray" rather than the default "DVD" label.

Microphone setup of speakers is simple too. plug in the mic and follow the instructions....just be quiet while it does it's thing.

So thats about it....Any questions?

I'm very pleased with it. Sounds great to me
