I have video through HDMI and sound through the red and white cables to an adaptor to 5.1 speakers.
I used this for the 360 and it worked great but with the PS3 it's really quiet. Any help? Last edited by CMM; 01-24-2009 at 01:22 PM. |

i don't have a ps3... but do you have the audio settings on your ps3 set to hdmi?
the ps3 should automatically change audio and video to hdmi if you have the cable plugged in... you should check your audio settings on the ps3 to "not hdmi", or whatever it calls it for the analog rca's |

I'll also add that the red/white cables only carry 2.0 channel stereo. If you want true 5.1 from the PS3 you need to use either an optical cable or the HDMI.
