I looked through the $7.88 bin this morning and saw several slipped copies of Mother!, No Escape, and Criminal. I also spotted several Disney films (The Rookie, Remember the Titans, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, etc.).

I ended up purchasing 6 films, and all of them rang up @ $5. This makes me wonder if every movie in there is currently ringing up @ $5, or if it's only selected titles. Here are the ones that I bought:

Interesting, those and the others aforementioned are also $5 on Brickseeker. Wonder if it really is the whole lot ringing at 5.

Not the case at my store. Just a select few. In fact, Purple Rain still rings up at the price checker as $7.88.

Did grab Noah and Mechanic Resurrection for $5 each though.

A lot more movies added to the bin at my local store this week. I price checked five different movies and they all showed $5. I saw Igor, Deep Blue Sea, All Eyez On Me, Criminal, The Rookie, Remember the Titans, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and No Escape like already mentioned. Spaceballs is back along with The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Rocky, Misconduct, Dirty Grandpa, the Divergent movies, Dances with Wolves, Carrie, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Also saw for the first time:



I went ahead and picked up Enchanted, Devil's Knot and The Legend of Ben Hall.

I was at Wm today. but didn't look in the back. sadly one time I didn't they update their stock.

If this $5 dollar bin pops up in more locations, or even just at mine, I'm about to have a very painful experience.

I really hope this is why the $7.88 bin disappeared from so many stores - to make way for a $5 bin.

Mine still has the bins. I did get the Christine 4K. it was the last copy.

A couple weeks ago I used Walmart Pay to redeem my savings catcher balance. I don't have a credit card active for WP. I then paid with my usual cash back credit card. Before I made it home, my receipt was in process for SC and both of the movies I bought were ready in VUDU.

If it stays like this, I'm good with the change.

It's a childhood favorite. I have it on DVD and Blu (not the ridiculous Twilight Time release I was too late for anyway, but the cheaper Sony re-issue).

Oh yeah, Passengers is still behind the commode. I actually popped it in one night and immediately realized I wasn't in the mood, so I popped it back out before or on the menu screen.

I'll mop it back into my Blu-ray player eventually.

My local WM, which NEVER has anything stocked moved the bin and replaced everything with new, $5 titles like:

Mother (w slip)
This is 40
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Rocky
No Escape
X-men DOFP (theatrical)
etc.

I surely hope they have all the titles out next time I am there.
