Default Extended Edition of "The Blair Witch Project" Coming

A Blu-ray release would be nice for this... if it ever gets a shot at being released, of course.

I love Blair Witch but would it really matter if it was release on Blu? Did they even use HD cameras?

I would love to have this on blu, but I think it would ruin the "feel" of the film a bit....idk

Yea, just more of someone running around the woods with a camera and a girl crying. Oh and let's not forget the little stick figures.

I had read the studio wanted nothing to do with this.

Not sure I would ever rewatch this (extended or not).

I found the DVDs for both films at a Big Lots back in 2002 for $4.99 each and I bought them and I had enjoyed the first film for how it was shot on a small budget but I had never saw BOOK OF SHADOWS and I was like "WHAT THE F**K?" after I finished watching it. I was like "How in the hell do you a make sequel that goes so off course from the first film?" I'm talking style of filmmaking here. I mean they tried and failed horribly at trying to make a horror film.

I saw this movie in the theaters that summer it came out due to being curious about the hype, have yet to see it again. Not a bad idea, just very overrated.

Yes more crying, walking around, not using the map or the book on "How not to get lost in the woods". I didn't like either one. The second was a hair better, but not much.

Basically the first one gave me the feel of A wedding in the woods.

It was my understanding that an extended cut of the film would involve the hours of "interview" footage that was never used. Stuff with Blair Witch experts, towns folk, etc.

... You do know and/or realize that the "South Park" episode you just referenced was generally-speaking poking fun at "Cloverfield," not "The Blair Witch Project"...?

um, if you read the attachment, you would see they didnt want to do a camcorder type thing again because it would be percieved as gimmicky.... THAT is why
