People seem to be stuck on the false idea that the THX cert is just a setting. Yes, there is a setting on the 800u called THX, but the certification is more than just the setting itself.

Do THX certified AV receivers have only ONE THX 'setting', outside of which the receiver is NOT THX certified? No. They don't.
