I've had this one pre-ordered since amazon.ca had that extra early posting for it. Think the price has dropped to about $23CAD. Not 100% sure I'm going to go through with the order but at $23 I'm thinking it's worth the blind buy. I either really enjoy these types of movies or really don't. There's not a lot of in between.

I'm not only excited about Willard, I also excited about all the 50's Sci-fi/horror they are releasing in the coming months. I really hope they keep them coming. If they do, they can have all my money.....

Who said anything about hating Scream Factory? What people hate is the constant cheerleading and sucking up. It's just annoying as f**k

Couldn't disagree more on this point. Personal pages are just that. As a fellow veteran of Blockbuster (cheers to you, BTW), I'm sure both of us have had something to say about that place in a public space--but that wouldn't give our respective customers (who would have likely seen us as "the face of the company") the right to call us at home asking when our copy of Good Burger is coming back.

Things can be frustrating, but I personally don't think assuming that a company employee has an open door policy on their personal page to deal with concerns is a good course of action.

Scream has its issue, but the fact that they are releasing the Brain and the Street Fighter goes a LONG way with me. I really can't praise them enough for these films.

I find Scream supporters just as annoying as Scream haters. Take every disc as it comes, buy the good ones that are worth the money, skip the others. Don't be part of some tribe either way, it's silly.

Anyone else get a shipping notice today for The Craft & Man’s Best Friend? Didn’t expect those to be shipped already so that’s a good thing.

NOTD is a long time favorite of mine, too. A lot of good, gory fun. A perfect October watch.

It's terrible, but in a good way esp if you have a sense of humor.

Yup, about over a month ago. You should contact them.

im glad they are making money and look forward to more releases from them. I could understand complained about pricing, but it's not cheap to put out these titles and I know they've put out some stuff that didn't bring a ton of money back to them.
Not to beat a dead horse or defend Scream, but I notice regular price hikes on others too(Arrow, Scorpion, Indicator, Eureka, Sony and there's others. I see new Arrow's going for 27.99 quite commonly as well as many other labels dipping into that price range as of late and even a bit befor Scream raised theirs. We also see 25$ release day msrp's on new releases. We never saw that before. The price jump seems to be happening industry wide. The 25$ or more for new releases and releases from boutique labels will be the norm from now on I'm afraid.

I give praise where praise is due. I love a lot of titles they put out. I am a fan of what they do overall. No need to be different for that.

I would like to see some of the Hammer titles as double features.

My reasoning is, they are, for many of us, triple dips. Their extras are pretty minimal. Their scans are just adequate. And perhaps most importantly, they ran as double bills in their original theatrical presentations.

Hammer Films seem like a waste of space and money as single titles. As much as I love them, they lend themselves well to double features or box sets.

I beat on SF quite a bit because they are very inconsistent and feel all they do is double dips but then they announce the Street Fighter Collection at a great price too. I just wish they would focus on titles that haven’t been released yet.

Sometimes the sales of the double dips are what helps pay for the stuff that hasn't been released yet.
