So I found out that the original Stepford Wives is now owned by ABC (via Palomar), any chance of giving those fans a new DVD/Blu-ray release and the TV sequels too since they're are owned by studios you have deals with (specifically MGM, CBS, and ABC)?

In 1965, three rambunctious teenagers take off across the border for Tijuana, dead set on a weekend full of partying, prostitutes, and tequila. The clean-cut Woody is on a mission impossible to lose his virginity, but shyness and insecurity stand in his way. The more experienced Spider just wants to watch a donkey show. The sex-obsessed Dave wants to score some Spanish Fly so that he can woo the girls back home. Also along for the ride is Dave's younger brother, whom the older kids tolerate just because he has enough cash to help them make the trip. The adventures and misadventures of these four get off to an unexpectedly quick start when they are joined by a housewife, Kathy, who just wants to cross over into Mexico so that she can get a divorce from her cheating husband.

The 1983 comedic drama, Losin' It, an early directorial effort from Curtis Hanson, who would later helm the critically acclaimed L.A. Confidential, is primarily remembered today as a footnote in the resume of Tom Cruise, who portrays the relatable Woody, who starred in Risky Business and All the Right Moves the same year, and who would soon be catapulted into superstardom a few years later in Top Gun. Interestingly enough, John Stockwell, who plays Spider, and Rick Rossovich, who shows up here as a temperamental Marine, respectively appeared in Top Gun as “Cougar” and “Slider” alongside Cruise's “Maverick.” Jackie Earle Haley, who almost steals the show from his more famous co-star as the Sinatra-wannabe Dave, was fresh off of a memorable turn in Breaking Away, which is one of my all-time favorite sports films. John P. Navin Jr., who is a trip as Dave's little brother, is mainly recognized today for his role in National Lampoon's Vacation as Cousin Dale with the collection of nudie books. Of course, Shelley Long, whom you all know from the Cheers television show, showcases her trademark talent for good-natured physical comedy as the unwitting heroine, Kathy.

Losin' It never goes full-tilt into teen sex comedy territory, although it is frequently dismissed as just one of many early 1980s films in that genre, but it also falls somewhat short of being a coming-of-age story. Despite its inability to commit to a defined tonal structure, however, it succeeds as an entertaining feature with just enough serious friendship interactions and just enough slapstick laughs to keep things interesting. Stereotypes about Mexicans are addressed in an upfront way, but the characters are depicted in a respectful manner, since this movie is more focused on making fun of the reckless Americans who get more than they bargained for when they cross the border just hoping to get their kicks. This one will probably not make anyone's top-tier list of favorite Tom Cruise films, but it's a solid endeavor.

This Kino Lorber Blu-ray sports a good-looking transfer with subtitles and decent audio, but is an otherwise bare bones affair, save for several trailers for similar movies. The main feature is its own reward, though, and, like most of the Kino Lorber Studio Classics output, it's great to see another endearing long lost Saturday afternoon flick hit the high definition format.

Palomar produced it, but it was financed by Bristol-Myers Squibb, the pharmaceutical company. Both MisterLime and Kino Lorber Insider have previously confirmed that B-MS still owns the film.

First day for me as well, Trevor Howard is great in this. It took quite a long time for it to appear on DVD for some reason, 2012.

Screen legend Jennifer Jones (Portrait of Jennie) stars as the young, beguiling Hazel Woodus in 1897 Shropshire, England. More than the people around her, she loves and understands the wild animals of the countryside, especially her pet fox. Whenever she has problems, she turns to the book of spells and charms left to her by her gypsy mother. When dashing local squire Jack Reddin (David Farrar, Hour of Glory) begins to pursue Hazel—despite her marriage to Baptist minister Edward Marston (Cyril Cusack, Fahrenheit 451)—a struggle for her body and soul ensues. This special edition includes both the original 1950 film, Gone to Earth, and the Roadshow Edition of producer David O. Selznick’s (Duel in the Sun) 1952 re-edit, The Wild Heart. Produced, written and directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger (The Red Shoes) and stunningly shot in color by Christopher Challis (A Shot in the Dark).

It would be great if Kino Lorber would release the Jean Paul Belmondo and Raquel Welch film "L`Animal" on blu-ray. It´s a Studio Canal title.

Target for Temptation… or Terror! Screen legends Doris Day (Love Me or Leave Me) and Rex Harrison (My Fair Lady) star in this shocking Hitchcockian thriller wonderfully directed by David Miller (Sudden Fear). Kit Preston (Day) is the elegant newlywed wife of British financier Anthony Preston (Harrison). Shortly after moving to one of London’s wealthiest neighborhoods, Kit is threatened by an unknown party. The tension mounts as the menacing phone calls continue and her husband shows little concern, until Kit begins to doubt her own sanity and the motives of everyone around her. This nail-biting thriller sports a top-notch supporting cast including Myrna Loy (The Thin Man), John Gavin (Psycho), Roddy McDowall (Lord Love a Duck), Herbert Marshall (The Letter) and Anthony Dawson (Dial M for Murder).

Coming June 25th!

Thunder Bay (1953) with optional English subtitles
• Audio Commentary by Film Historian Toby Roan
• Theatrical Trailer

Color 103 Minutes 1.85:1 Not Rated
A storm of excitement swirls around James Stewart (Broken Arrow, Rear Window) in this dynamic tale of adventurous wildcatters searching for black gold in the Gulf of Mexico. Dan Duryea (Foxfire) teams with Stewart as a pair of oil prospectors who must stand up to devastating hurricanes, dangerous love affairs and a hostile town of Cajun fishermen to strike pay dirt. The alluring Joanne Dru (Red River) co-stars as a Louisiana firebrand who fears Stewart’s exploration will destroy her way of life, but can’t help the attraction she feels for the magnetic fortune seeker. The great Anthony Mann (Bend of the River, Man of the West) directed this explosive adventure yarn with top-notch cinematography by William H. Daniels (Woman in Hiding). The sterling cast includes Gilbert Roland (The Bullfighter and the Lady), Jay C. Flippen (Man Without a Star) and Harry Morgan (The Ox-Bow Incident).

The "potential" Blu-ray set would be the same three disc as they currently appear in the market in a slipcase. But we have not decided if we'll do this or not.

New scans for the 2 restored titles would put us in financial hole we won't ever come out of, so zero chance of that.

We are doing some 4KUHD tests to see how these Techniscope films will look on UHD, if they pass or test and the sales for Hannibal are good, we may look into going back and re-color A Fistful of Dollars and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly to match the color grading of For a Few Dollars More. The plan would be to release a 4 Disc set, three films on three 4KUHD discs and one Blu-ray disc porting over all the extras for the three films. We would only include one cut of TGTB&TU, not sure which one it'll be, most likely the extended cut.
