I know it's sad, but I was really hoping to see an announcement for the Nude Bomb soon. It's currently my most anticipated title from KL.

These name/film pairing sometimes crack me up. Yes, of course, when I hear the name "Roddy McDowall" I obviously think of Lord Love a Duck! Planet of the Apes? Never heard of it. Fright Night? Fright what?

Question

KINO LORBER INSIDER:

Is there a chance you will release THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN IN THEIR FLYING MACHINES since the Twilight Time version is sold out?

KL would probably have to do another Fox deal to get Magnificent Men and several other former TT titles.

Sometimes there are clues of future releases in those associations.

Lord Love a Duck! was slated to be released several years ago by TT, but as with Konga, plans fell through due to no one willing to shell out for a new HD transfer. I have a feeling KL has that one planned for a future announcement or through a new MGM deal if they're in the process of one.

Lord Love a Duck is one of the weirdest, most bizarre movies I have ever seen. I saw it on TV awhile ago (AMC I think) and I just couldn't handle it even though I love Roddy McDowell and weird movies. It was just too out there. With that said, I know if Kino releases it, I will end up buying it.....

I also wish we could get just a little more info on this? The same thing is said of THE HAUNTING OF JULIA.

I'd walk over hot coals to get an official release of either one.

Target for Temptation… or Terror! Screen legends Doris Day (Love Me or Leave Me) and Rex Harrison (My Fair Lady) star in this shocking Hitchcockian thriller wonderfully directed by David Miller (Sudden Fear). Kit Preston (Day) is the elegant newlywed wife of British financier Anthony Preston (Harrison). Shortly after moving to one of London’s wealthiest neighborhoods, Kit is threatened by an unknown party. The tension mounts as the menacing phone calls continue and her husband shows little concern, until Kit begins to doubt her own sanity and the motives of everyone around her. This nail-biting thriller sports a top-notch supporting cast including Myrna Loy (The Thin Man), John Gavin (Psycho), Roddy McDowall (Lord Love a Duck), Herbert Marshall (The Letter) and Anthony Dawson (Dial M for Murder).

Yay! I've been contemplating getting the German Blu-ray but now I don't have to! Thanks Kino!

Fox recently released this themselves in Germany, same transfer, region free.

In that recent Q&A Arrow said they didn't have any Poliziotteschi forthcoming, so it might be Code Red or Scorpion. Not sure who else it could be, as I really don't see Blue Underground upgrading.

Is this because of the blowback that you received regarding your "Theatrical Cut" on Blu-ray? Despite the issues that some of the purists had with the accuracy of that cut, I believe that your attempt at reconstructing the Theatrical Cut is still preferred by most viewers over the Extended Cut. I personally would prefer your Theatrical Cut.

Any update on White Squall? My copy of An Innocent Man just arrived and I'd forgotten about White Squall - another former Mill Creek release. I plan on double dipping on most of those former Mill Creek Disney titles.
