I don't have this problem with any of the other email subscriptions I have from other companies. I always receive the support emails (support@vudu.com) or forum updates (help@vudu.com) from Vudu. email@email.vudu.com just reads like a spammy email address. I receive a bunch of spam emails worded similarly on my work email every week. Something like promo@vudu.com or even no-reply@vudu.com might not trigger these kick backs.
As I have tried other providers such as gmail, outlook, and aol, and all of them would constantly kick emails back, this is not limited to comcast. Plus, it has been reported by others using different providers. I'm sure customer service would be happy not to receive so many calls from customers that didn't get their promo code every time they roll one out. I hate complaining about it because I usually get treated like I'm trying to "pull one over" on them for a $2 credit or 20% coupon. If it weren't for their user interface being so much better than Amazon's (my opinion) and their frequent promotions, I would be done with them. |
