You edited this to make it less patronising. I don't think I've seen you do that before!

I've got the sync issue too. I just adjusted the a/v sync on my player. That did the trick. Still annoying that the disc is that way though.

Glanced at this thread again. Thought it said Beetlejuice 4k 😂

Bumblebee is fun. I've watched it three times.

I've now tested the UHD on three players (Panasonic 820, Sony X800 and the Xbox One X) and all exhibit the sync issue through my system.

I put a call into Paramount this morning so will see what they say about the issue.

I noticed it immediately! I didn't notice it on the Vudu version. I thought my setup was messed up but threw in the Martian and it was perfect. Theres definitely an issue with the uhd.

Which player do you have? The x800 only has positive milliseconds offset which makes things worse.

Please, let us know what the return procedure is, if it's a known issue.

Thanks

Same audio/lip syncing issues here, I thought it was the firmware update on my Sony UBP-X700 but I guess I’m not the only one I hope it’s not faulty discs since it’s expensive enough already having bought the steelbook packaging

I was able to speak to someone at PHE. They suggested using the email address I posted above to communicate any sync issues to them. They will start a master case and look into the issue. Please include any UHD players used where issue was noticed along with other equipment in the chain.

Again the email address is PHE_CustomerService@Paramount.com

I also have the x800. I thought I corrected the problem. I only checked out a few scenes but, you are correct. After more tinkering today, the a/v sync on the player didn't help. I may try on my soundbar tonight. I think I can go positive or negative with sync on it.

No sync issues here. Maybe player related?

No because some with the x800 don't have problems and some do.

hmm weird to hear about the sync issues, wish I could test it out, but AnyDVD doesn't recognize the disc yet, it would be interesting to see what a raw, direct software player thought of it and if it has the same sync issues or not

I'm using a One X being passed directly through the Vizio 5.1.4 Atmos system, no audio sync issues for me.

Could it be an Atmos vs non-atmos thing?

Ok, glad to see I wasn't the only one who noticed the sync was off, it isn't noticeable until John Cena's Agent Burns talks to his buddy.

Question Curious...

For those of you who've watched the special features:
[Show spoiler]Was anyone else shocked that everyone was referring to Bumblebee as if it took place in the same canon as the Michael Bay films?
What about Hasbro's admittedly vague comments about it being the start of a new storytelling universe or whatever? And what about the fact that Bumblebee in the Bay films was supposedly FIGHTING NAZIS. lol!
