With Kino releasing Summer of Sam soon, I would like to see them release He Got Game and 25th Hour on their own Blu-Ray release.

No, most of the D/F cartoons were poor performers. We would be very interested in some WB and MGM cartoons, but Warner controls the rights to all of them and as of now they're not interested in licensing them.

I assume it is with Criterion, as they have the other Lynch owned titles.

I really hope you're able to get Brotherhood of the Wolf. I'm a big fan of that one, too.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Are other studios similarly reluctant to license out their classic cartoons?

Late last year the Insider confirmed it was not part of Kino's deal. However, that post you quoted, and his suggestion that more titles might be added to the deal, gives me hope. If not, perhaps Scream will end up releasing it?

We may be adding some titles to the deal, not saying this is one of them...

Also, correction, we have two real horror 70s titles. We cannot release one till late 2020, so that's why I didn't see it on the unannounced list.

We released the key UA ones through our MGM deal. Paramount is willing to license the cartoons from the Republic library. Pretty sure Disney will not license any of their cartoons, so that leaves Universal, and we haven't asked.

Whether it's "real" horror or not, I look forward to HOMEBODIES sometime this year.

Given your recent post about you have one from Antichrist and two other titles, but said release not being out to late 2020, I'm really tempted to draw a link here...

LOST HIGHWAY (1997) Color 134 Minutes 2.35:1 Rated R
Haunting sexuality, ricochet action and fleeting, murderous shadows await you on a journey that begins and ends on the Lost Highway. The successful jazz musician whose marriage is on the rocks... The man in black who threatens to expose him... The young mechanic with links to a powerful mobster... The mobster’s moll, who knows what she wants and the people who can get it for her. These are the riders on the Lost Highway, trapped in their worlds of desire, destiny, and unknown destination, where the truth is always just a short way further down the road. Featuring an electrifying soundtrack and a star-studded cast including Bill Pullman (Malice), Patricia Arquette (True Romance), Robert Blake (Busting), Balthazar Getty (White Squall), Gary Busey (Silver Bullet), Richard Pryor (Blue Collar) and Robert Loggia (Prizzi’s Honor), Lost Highway is an extraordinary, sensual fever dream from legendary filmmaker David Lynch (Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks).

Thanks for posting all of this. It's really interesting to see what's happening behind closed doors. Brotherhood of the Wolf was another title I was hoping from you guys, and interesting to see it's not with either Universal or Studio Canal.

Besides the confirmed titles for Studio Canal will we get any other titles from the unconfirmed 30 or so titles in 2019, or will they all be in 2020?

Also, do you guys have Extreme Prejudice? (Can't hurt to ask again)

Either way, there are about 20 titles that I will be buying from the ones you announced so far. 2019 is a killer year.

Any chance of Universal cartoons like Woody Woodpecker? That's Universal isn't it? I can't see Universal doing anything with that.

EDIT: Nevermind I saw the response about Universal

Great news about Lost Highway. Day one purchase, along with Mississippi Burning, Hannibal, Brinks Job, and a host of others. Count me in for Cemetery Man and Brotherhood of the Wolf, if those deals ever come to fruition...
