Is your PS3 connected to the internet? It should automatically download track names for any CD in their rather extensive database, you should be able to upload info if you have a CD they don't. Keep in mind the CD format doesn't include track titles (afaik anyway), so that info has to come from somewhere other than the disc.

I have ripped my small but very esoteric CD collection (mainly anime soundtracks) directly to my PS3 and every one of them has been recognized with full track info (some discs have multiple entries in Japanese and English).
