If Apple really wants to take over the computer industry, and gain a LEAD on Microsoft, they're gonna have to release a PC version of OSX. THAT is the announcement i'm waiting for, and frankly, the only thing that would actually impress me anymore.

I would absolutely BUY it day 1, and dual boot it with Windows 7. Instead of virtualizing it (which i've done, and it's blah without FULL gpu, ram and processor allocating support)

Anyway, what was the topic about again?

1) PC Version of OSX? Maybe you need to understand what "Macintosh" really means. Macintosh is an experience and it is a complete packaged product. It is not just an OS. I left the PC world for this very reason - I don't want an OSX "PC" version, no thank you. I want a Macintosh. I want something that is brilliantly designed from a human factors and an engineering standpoint. You will not see a PC version of OSX. Why don't you just continue to support Windows, and quit posting in these Apple threads, because you have nothing really to add but to ease in your Windows support. It's getting really old, and it's the reason why the last thread was closed. If you want an Apple, then buy an Apple. Quit trotting around and sticking your foot in the water. Have you ever figured that Apple maybe doesn't "want" to go mainstream? Mainstream is creates a decline in quality. I'm happy where Apple is, as they are currently on a small, but steady incline of gaining market share.

2) Telling people to not "expect" exciting things from Apple just because Jobs is on sick leave? You do realize that Steve doesn't design apple products, right? We will see just as much exciting things with him gone than with him around.

3) Do you have proof that Blu-ray playback will not be supported with Snow Leopard?
