That is definitely one of the funniest things to air on television in the last twenty years.

For those who didn't see it last night, Conan actually played the Triump / Attack of the Clones thing during his monologue.

His whole band is coming along with announcer Joel Goddard. I dunno if some of his skit actors are coming though.

Waiting to watch when I get home, but apparently last night he went to take an axe to La Bamba's mic stand until somebody stopped him because the band's coming. So that's a plus, imagine Conan and Kevin Eubanks.

Oh sweet, I thought they were getting rid of Joel on account of the tribute they had to him. I wonder if the kayak guy will have one last moment, he was in the ending credits on Tuesday night.

For anyone who is a fan of the show I recommend this dvd:

http://www.amazon.com/Late-Night-Con...5076051&sr=8-2

At just $9.99 it is a great deal. These feature some hilarious interviews and the Triumph feature includes the classic Attack of the Clones that's been mentioned by several people, as well as several other skits like when Triumph goes to the Westminster dog show and the VMAs. It's also nice to see some classic moments with Andy.

Wow, I JUST posted a topic in the BD Wish List forum how a boxset would be amazing. We got my Step-Dad the Johnny Carson boxset a few years back.

Eubanks is the blankest Yes Man ever. Leno speaks, Eubanks laughs....Jay doesnt even get to the punchline and Eubanks is laughing.

I'm guessing that Eubanks and his band will follow Jay to 10pm. So basically, Leno's new show will just be his Tonight Show, on 90 minutes, and the Tonight Show will just be Late Nite an hour earlier. Good. I can get to bed an hour earlier.

I never thought I'd find a late night host I'd like since Mike Bullard went off the air, but Conan is downright hilarious. But at 11:35 at night, it's still too late for me.

Best of luck to him though!

I don't get it, why is this news? Isn't this just Conan and Leno both shifting forward and hour and getting a name change?

Whatever, for me it means a free up of a DVR slot.

Well for me it breaks down like this:

- Best host: Letterman
- Best comedy bits: Conan
- Best monologue: Ferguson

I rarely watch Leno or Kimmel.

I remeber when i was 12-13 when i first saw conan. They had some animal person ( i can't remeber who) on and they had a fake alligator in a little kids swimming pool. I remeber conan diving head first into the pool to wrestle with the fake alligator and from that moment on, i couldn't stop laughing for about 10-15 minutes.

I can't wait for him to be on a little earlier, i'll actually be able to watch him again!!!

Sort of, but I imagine Conan's Tonight Show will be quite a bit different than what he's currently doing. Bigger audience, bigger guests, and probably a shift in the humor, because some stuff Conan does at 12:30 (like the m-bating bear) won't make it to an 11:30 show.

I kind of like them all in their own way.

Leno seems like a nice guy, and generally sticks to clean humor.

Letterman can be a bit grating, but he probably gives the best interview of the five.

Ferguson has surprisingly gotten pretty funny, particularly in his monologue.

Conan has some of the best/most random skits, but the maturity level of his humor gets a bit tiring after a while.

Kimmel seems like a normal person, and the least professional, which is why he's sometimes funny (like the I'm F-ing Matt Damon/Ben Affleck videos, or him asking Obama if he showers with his friend after basketball games).

More or less. Initially Leno was done (retired) and Conan would be moving up so that woulda been a much more noticeable difference. However, now Leno is at 10pm and Conan at 11:30pm so it's less of a change, but Conan going to LA from NYC after 16 years has turned into something of a TV event tonight and for the past week or so.

He's had alot of random cameos (including many more tonight, according to Twitter). Plus the White Stripes are performing which has triggered some buzz. I'm planning my evening around being home for 12:30, how sad is that?! I've been a fan of his show for awhile, I'm just hoping it doesn't change too too much for the earlier slot, so tonights has a bit of an ending feel to it.

I'd imagine Andy Richter and Al Roker would make an appearance too.

They aired that clip last night. That's Steve Irwin, "The Crocodile Hunter" with Conan.

Well there it goes.

For those who missed it, Conan spent the last 10 minutes just thanking all sorts of people. Toward the end he sounded as if he was getting a bit choked up, and then mentioned that he'd read people saying that he'll have to grow up now that he's moving to the 11:30 time-slot, but added that he can't, because he is who he is. The crowd stood up and cheered. The end.

That was great.

I love the White Stripes, wasn't too crazy about their re-imagined performance but to see Conan thankful for them performing after they did was really cool. Great clips, funny cameos (John Mayer?!), enjoyed it! Plus the ending to the show was great, I especially liked the final comments as toefer just mentioned.

I loved the fake satellite channels, especially the Lincoln Money Shot Channel. Conan is my favorite late night show host. I have been a fan for many years. I just dont understand why the show couldnt air earlier without leaving NY. To me O'Brien is a NY staple and shouldve stayed in NY.
