2) HD movie rentals are $6 for new stuff, $4.50 for some catalog titles. Only purchase in SD I believe. I just looked through and couldn't find any HD to purchase.
3) I got one once and won't again. Took forever to download. HD resolution is 720p. Quality looks about on par with a good DVD upscale. I noticed artifacting in fast action scenes. Nothing like what Blu-ray can offer. The sound is the kicker though. DD 2.0. No surround. Worse than a DVD. You are better off renting a BD or even the DVD of it, or waiting to buy it. |
