Well, I have also seen only one of his films. It was Amarcord and I loved it.

It's not really representative (though not far away in tone), and quite certainly not the best place to start with Fellini !
Amarcord, I Vitelloni, 8 1/2 or La Dolce Vita are better places to start.

I'd say La Dolce Vita or Nights of Cabiria are great starting places. La Strada is also fairly safe. I think my first one was 8 1/2, and it's probably my favorite, but some may get off-put, if not confused by the film. It certainly benefits from multiple viewings.

I wouldn't write him off yet.
I didn't like Satyricon very much either, it's definitely my least favourite Fellini film of which i've seen all but a couple.
I would recommend starting with his earlier films first such as I Vitelloni, La Strada, Il Bidone & Nights Of Cabiria as they are more straight forward drama's & easier to sit through (and some of his best) in my opinion.

Sorry, couldn't pass on the opportunity.

I would start with the four titles johnpaul2 recommended. Maybe best viewed chronologically as well.

Must admit, I thought of a large sock with horse manure when I read the comments.

Lol really? Let’s write off the whole filmography of one of the most widely respected filmmakers of all time on the basis of seeing half of one of their movies...

FWIW, I personally struggle with Fellini’s more surrealistic and indulgent later works, although you have to still appreciate the sheer quality of the filmmaking even if you don’t get along with the content, but I highly recommend his earlier works like I Vitelloni, Il Bidone, La Strada and The Nights Of Cabiria which are very different in tone and style.

It would be great if we got access to the Criterion Channel. It is currently the only streaming website that I am interested in.

It's easy enough to access it with a VPN, which you only need to sign up.

What VPN have people used to create a Criterion Channel Account?
I'm using ExpressVPN and have connected with a number of different US based servers, and each time, the Criterion Channel page directs me to a 'Request Access' page, advising that the service is unavailable in your Region (I'm in the UK).

I've tried from my desktop, and also a few iOS devices - no change in getting the holding page above.

Using the free one on Opera browser worked fine for me in the signup process, just has to be turned on in the settings.

How do you pay once on the sign-up screen though, don't you need a US Credit/Debit card?

I thought this might be an issue but mine worked fine. I get the feeling that Criterion know that they can't legally offer the service internationally (yet) but they can sneakily make it as easy as possible for us to access it.

What did you enter when it asks you for a zip-code? That's the only thing I can't enter, as I can't change my location to UK.

That's strange, I had that option. Perhaps they've clamped down on this.

Mine came to £158.73, including currency conversion fees. That was on preorder, from Amazon U.S.
