Honestly, about half of the titles people have been finding, I've never seen here in AZ at all and I hit 5 stores over the last week and 3 of the stores, I was the first person to go through their movies! It's crazy how many good titles I see that I can't get! *hangs head to pout* |

Don't even care if they have Barbie on them. They just make grocery shopping so much more convenient. |

This is the part that made me mad and I don't know if it's true. I called them to ask if the movies were out. First the lady said they had no movies. I said are you sure you didn't get any in the previous week? She put me on hold and came back saying they had 21 boxes of movies. I said "what?!? I've never heard of a DT getting more than 12 boxes and nowadays they usually get 4-6." She said that was an accurate count, but some of them might be from prior occasions when they never bothered to put them out. What?!?
I begged if I could please go through them today since I was nearby. She put me on hold and came back saying the manager said no, we are too busy, and you'll just have to call next week to see if/when we put them out. Then she added she was going to call her boyfriend to give him first crack at the Blurays before they put them out. Apparently DT stores don't have to put movies out on Friday if they don't feel like it? Last edited by Baguda; 06-10-2019 at 04:07 AM. |

I'm in the Midwest-
Yesterday (Thursday) I was vacationing 2 and a half hours away, and I figured, what the heck, I'll stop by the closest Dollar Tree just in case they put some out early. I walked in at 9am to a table that looked like it hadn't been touched, full of movies with 2 rows of Blu rays. I walked out with about 25. I then went to 3 more, but only one had the new shipment, and it was back in electronics. Picked up about 3 more. Fast forward to Friday when I'm back home, and I hit the most reliable store first at open. Just a few that I didn't already have. Can't say I'm surprised, since it is pretty much the same region. Went to 2 other stores, and nothing I didn't already have. Another store's assistant manager told me she couldn't put out movies until her manager showed up at noon. Drat. On to another nearby town. Bombed out. Out of the first three stores, only movie I bought was Fried Green Tomatoes. Fourth store, which usually doesn't have much in the way of Blu rays anyway, didn't have their movies out yet. Anyway, here are the movies. I'm thinking that Map to the Stars, Holiday Inn, Office Space, Norman Lear, Burying the Ex, and The Man with Iron Fists 2 might have only been available on the coasts. All Blu Ray unless otherwise noted- Discovery North America The Narrows Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates The Infiltrator $5 a Day Jarhead 3 in slipcover R.L. Stine's Mostly Ghostly Home Run Showdown Peter Pan Live! DVD+CD Women of SNL DVD Commercial Parodies DVD Rage Paradise The Numbers Station Tomorrow You're Gone Return to Sender The Good Catholic DragonHeart 3 Dog Eat Dog Dawn of the Dragon Slayer Day of the Falcon Bring It On Worldwide Cheersmack Beneath the Darkness HD Moods Aquarium 2.0 American Violet American Girl Lea to the rescue The Almighty Johnsons Season 1 All Things Fall Apart Venus and Vegas Gun Honey 3 in slipcover Speed Resident Kevin Hart I'm a Grown Little Man The Colony The Double Fried Green Tomatoes I also saw Hail Caesar which I bought before. Definitely a case of quantity over quality, though there might be some gems in there since know very little about most of the movies. Just for comparison sake, locally I wasn't even able to find 20 movies in the March sale. Last edited by Tannarak; 06-07-2019 at 10:20 PM. |

Speaking of mad... why can a store have 1 manager and 4 employees and a line of 15 people checking out with 1 register open? I SEE THIS EVERYWHERE! Bad managers.... |

I was gonna go on a trek thru Madison, stopped at one down in Rockford and found DOG EAT DOG, but then my phone started going crazy that Brie Larson is doing her first conve tion this fall and I need to find $550 in two weeks to secure her VIP, so skipping the rest of this wave I think.
I missed out on Emilia Clarke a few months ago, and she sounds like a one and done conventioner, so not messing around missing Brie. |
