I just played some pong the other day

But seriously I think it would depend on the game and the movie. I had some buddies in college who would bust out the old Ice Hockey on the NES once every week just to play it. And the game was closing in on 20 years old at the time. Though there are so many classic movies that I myself could watch repeatedly for the rest of my life so I would definitely have to go with movies, though I could see the argument for games if the game is good enough.

Good S*** toneloctr, I suppose if this was posted in a "gamer" forum we would get more Game votes. I'm thinking now that i'm leaning towards a 70/30 split in favor of movies!

now a days i would say movie no contest! new games don't have the long term appeal to me they used to, seems so many games rely to heavily on graphics and not enough on fun factor! the only games i consider life long games lol are all ps1 or older era games, maybe 1 or two from the ps2. I can watch movies repeatedly if they are among my favorites, and i generally try to only buy movies that fall in this category, although i must admit during the movie war i went a little crazy on the BOGOs lol and bought some stuff i probably shouldn't have.

Same here. The only game that ever had long term appeal to me was Tetris.
