Which edition?

The Starz / Anchor Bay blu-ray is excellent quality. You're bound to enjoy it.

I wish I could see a 35mm print projected in a crowded theater again.

Eh, February isn't all that far away and I already have the Super-Duper boxed set if I need to scratch the Dawn itch. I'm fine waiting.

It sure is great that you can buy all kinds of Dawn Of The Dead merchandise here in the US...but not the actual film.

I'm happy with it.

Sure, I'd be down for another "ultimate edition," with all three cuts and lots of extras. But the U.S. theatrical cut is easily the best version. It's the one I watch, so I'm glad I got the AB BD.

Still curious to see if a US label was able to pick this up or not.

I feel the same. The AB disc isn't perfect and it has its detractors- although I don't know that I've seen a disc here that didn't have someone complaining about it given a year or so- but it's more than served me for the 10 years I've had it.

I'm one of the few that actually thinks the extended cut is the better version of the film. So I' feel like I've been waiting forever for this to get a proper release.

I saw the 3D version back in March. I went in pretty skeptical. I mean I've seen this movie a thousand times and never once thought it needed some sort of 3D gimmick. So my expectations were definitely tempered. Honestly, I thought it was pretty awesome. It's still the same film, but the 3D presentation makes it even more immersive. Would be pretty cool if they could put that out in a definitive set.

Argento Cut as mentioned, not a bad transfer either although the English mono track loses sync at certain spots and the 5.1 is bloody awful in general.

Same. It was amazing in 3D, and exceeded my expectations. It would be frustrating to know that the conversion exists, but may never be available for the only home video format to support it.

I’m jealous and I dearly hope this can be released on 3D Blu at some point

All I want is the US theatrical release. I don’t hate the other cuts, but I don’t plain on watching them again.
