Alright, alright, that's enough negativity thank you. We're going to get an announcement tomorrow and it's going to be great.

I don't see why they couldn't announce a January title or two. After all, we only two for that month so there's bound to be another 4-5, which they'll announce in about 3 weeks anyway.

I think a couple of 70s Paramount animal attack films - Bug and Orca - would be a good announcement. Per the ShockWaves podcast, I don't seem them announcing a major Paramount title until Halloween, but then plans change.

King Kong 76 & Orca would be great. I would double dip with no questions asked.

I mentioned it on Netflix's Twitter or maybe even Scream Factory could help out with an animated version just like Castlevania of The Howling: Revenge of the Werewolf Queen based on the comic book series. It's a direct sequel to the original movie.
I know this is the Scream Factory thread but just thought I would mention it since they've released the first 3 films on Blu-ray. Hopefully they can release Howling 4, 5 & 6 on Blu-ray soon.

I don't have either of those, so those would be insta-purchases for me.

Hey Scream Factory, will you be releasing The Mummy's Shroud ? I was hoping to have heard something by now. Thanks for your time.

They don't reply on here, but they almost certainly will release it. That and Rasputin at least will surely appear within the first 2-3 months of 2020.

Quick heads up for anyone with Hulu (not sure which versions, we have Hulu+Live), a good number of the IFC Midnight titles are available to stream.

Yep, in the sense that they are two standard definition movies on a Blu-ray disc, this is true.

Hence the "technically" :P. But in all fairness you are 100% correct, I own the disc because I lost my DVD copy of part 5 over the years, but it really does look like a macroblocking VHS nightmare on any TV bigger than 27 inches.

Just that artwork alone screams "This Is The Shittiest Picture Quality Possible".

Hopefully Scream Factory owns them (Howling 4, 5 & 6) since they bought Timeless Media Group I believe. Would like to have GOOD quality Blu-ray releases of all these.

Also, TMG released The Beast starring William Petersen about a giant squid.

I’ve seen a few on Hulu, off the top of my head I know they have:

Hellions
Baskin
Stung
The Funhouse Massacre
Ghost Stories
Animal
Beyond the Gates

Netflix also has some IFC stuff, again off the top of my head:

House on Willow Street
The Axe Murders of Villisca
The Devils Candy

Probably doesn't belong here, but I can't think of a better place to put it...has anybody seen the found footage Bigfoot movie from 2014, Exists? From the co-writer/director of The Blair Witch Project, this one came and went in the blink of an eye.

Is it worth taking a look? Is Scream a logical choice for a potential Blu-ray release?

Cheers

I saw it, it was ok. Not too bad but not really something I’d personally want to own. The second half was better then the first.

I used to watch the heck out of that. (Even still have the soundtrack.) I recorded it on VHS when it aired but never bought the DVD since it was an edited version with nearly an hour's worth of footage missing. I've heard the TMG Blu-ray of the original two-part version apparently has terrible PQ. I'd be down for a new Blu-ray from Scream if it was something they could release but, unless I'm mistaken, they don't really seem to dabble much in TV programs.

Ah yes, William Petersen...turned down Platoon, Goodfellas and Heat but was bowled over by Young Guns II, Mulholland Falls and The Beast
