By the way "A Pain in the ass" with Lino Ventura is the orginal version of "Buddy Buddy"(Lemmon/Matthau).

The critics said that the French orginal is better than the US remake.

How can you tell? I can't make heads or tails of what he's trying to say, so the placement of the punctuation is a moot point.
Like SeanJoyce I don't like to get on anyone because of a language barrier (he certainly knows more English words than I do Vietnamese), but the point of language is to communicate, and there's not a lot being communicated to me.

Yikes, if I were Kino I’d have passed on this release altogether if that master was the only option the studio presented to me. The amount of edge enhancement is so high that Peck and Matthau look like they’re glowing. Maybe they got this one in a package deal?
