To check whether it's really your TV that's the problem, go buy Chicken Little or Open Season. I own both titles, and they're both nearly flawless transfers with zero grain.

Oh, and remember to go to the Settings menu of your PS3 and change DVD Upscaling to Normal if it isn't already.

Last thing to do is to check your calibration settings on your TV. Make sure stuff like Sharpness is turned off; the edge enhancement that Sharpness settings introduce can cause noise problems on HDTV displays in complex scenes.
