And that's my point. Nobody ever does, because Blu-ray speaks for itself. There is no need to build Blu-ray up by trying to tear HD DVD down.

i like how on blurayrot.com one fo their videos is a cnet cideo that shows blu ray beating hd dvd 18 to 17 in a 4 round prize fight. they called it a draw but i think they were scoring VEEEERRRRYYYY favorably for hd dvd. the storage and support rounds should not have been that close.

Since when does losing in America mean anything but that you LOST?

18-17, Blu-ray won. HD DVD lost.

Of course, this is the same crowd that follows this logic:

65/35 is about 60/40, and that's only 10% away from being all tied up. Ooooook then.

Of course, I keep forgetting that NOW they want two formats to survive.

It's pointless to get upset over something like this and a waste of energy. The best revenge is success. And we can take comfort in knowing which format is more successful. The sales, the studio support and even apparently Steven Spielberg tell us what we really need to know.

You know...I usually have a witty quip about something like this but...those sites are so full of sh*t I can believe it.

Can you say "spit my last breath at thee".

Desparation at its lowest, saddest, and most depressed form.

I still don't quite understand why Universal hates Sony so much. If Universal were to switch over to Blu-ray or release films on both HD-DVD and Blu-ray, the format war would not be an issue at all anymore.

I would bet money that the people behind those two websites are listed on the HD-DVD Zealot Tier Thread.

They have gone into pure desperation mode at this point.

Well, some of you may sneer & laugh, but this terrifying propaganda weapon is already having a dramatic effect on HD disc sales at Amazon:

Possibly not the effect they had in mind....

Someone made the point earlier that whether it is pro or bashing the public are hearing "blah blah Blu-ray blah blah Blu-ray blah Blu-ray blah blah blah Blu-ray..."

Isn't it nice when the enemy advertises the very thing they want to sabotage.
