Regardless, hopefully we'll be seeing H.264/AVC/MPEG4 encoded discs announced as well--seeing in how Sony and others in the BDA are in the patent pool for MPEG4.

At 16:00 pm (local time) the BDA announcement will take place. So we'll know in about 2 hours.
