Real shame, since I quite liked it. Beautiful photography.

Still, Zavvi still have the pre-order up, which is offering a tantalising glimpse of what could happen. Ah well, better just import from somewhere else, ‘specially seeing as it should be cheap as chips in six months time.

Seems like a DVD only release for Ken Loach's 'Sorry We Missed You', a film I just saw today and would put it up there with the year's best! Huge disappointment as his latest films have received Blu-ray releases, like 'I, Daniel Blake' and 'The Angels' Share'

Another eOne release of course! Not even wide releases are safe anymore. I believe Kino Lorber are releasing the film in the US so we’ll at least see a Region A Blu-ray. Admittedly it’s a French/Belgian co-production but it’s always upsetting whenever a UK film ends up having its Blu-ray edition having to be bought internationally rather that domestically.

Most of the Loach films that are DVD only are his TV work (unsurprisingly) and his work from the 90s-00s (Land and Freedom, My Name is Joe, Bread and Roses, The Navigators, Sweet Sixteen, Ae Fond Kiss, It’s a Free World) so yeah this is pretty upsetting to see. The last Loach that was DVD only was his documentary The Spirit of 45 (Dogwoof).

Looks like The Goldfinch will be DVD only as well. STX’s smartphone horror Countdown is also DVD only.
The Goldfinch is getting a Blu Ray release in the U.S. through Warners so there is a reasonable chance it could be region free.

They're also sitting on the UK rights to a lot of his films, at least one of which was letterboxed on DVD (All About My Mother), and don't seem to licence out to anyone else - it's frustrating when labels sit on titles and they're stuck in SD limbo.

I see that the UK DVD has art and a release date (13 January 2020), while the Blu-ray has neither, but I would still pre-order the Blu-ray as the UK branch of Fox seems to be having a really hard time getting certain titles properly listed on Amazon over the past several months.

EDIT: I see it has disappeared from Amazon, now.
Some good news: Pain and Glory is now back on for 13 January 2020:

Doesn't look like The Art of Racing in The Rain will be released on blu-ray. It's just had a blu-ray release in the US but UK sites are only listing it on DVD.

Universal will release Official Secrets for eOne in Germany. Presently, the release date is 30 June 2020:

The film is also with eOne in Australia, but is only releasing theatrically this week, so the video release also has yet to be announced there.

Looks like Jay & Silent Bob Reboot is DVD only which breaks the more often or not the trend of female driven films being dumped onto DVD only in the UK. Prematurely said that will be getting a HMV exclusive blu-ray.

It is available on Blu-ray in Australia (Australia is Region B), and is currently on sale at JB Hi-Fi as well.

I cannot confirm whether the disc is region free for those outside of Australasia/Europe, however.

I just purchased it at JB Hi-Fi. With their 20% off it was only $21.55.

I can confirm that it is region B locked.

Thanks, I didn't realize that a 20% off sale was on now. I've ordered a copy.

JB Hi-Fi (Australia) has 20% off all (excluding pre-orders) discs, including DVDs, Blu-rays and UHDs until midnight tomorrow (23:59 AEDST Tuesday 3rd December, 2019).

Discounts stack with other offers, such as Buy 2 Get 1 Free and what not (so you'll pay 20% off on the two higher-priced discs and get the third free, for example).

Thanks for that, Vertigo must have just added it, because when I looked a few days ago, only a DVD was listed on Amazon. Here is the Blu-ray:
