About 85% hehe.. Own 69, and 60 of them are imports! Combine the lack of titles with the horribly high price tag, and there is not reason not to buy from the UK or US! THANK YOU GUYS FOR CHEAP BD

The only Blu Ray import I have is Equilibrium. Just paid 46 bucks for the UK HD-DVD of Brotherhood of the Wolf though. It looks great, and has DTS-Master audio.

The European cases are just blue-colored versions of the PS3 game cases.

None for me... I wish the USA could get a release of The Island. Is this a region free title?

Yes. I happen to own it and it looks very good. It only has lossy audio though.

The awesome Amazon UK Buy 2 Get 1 Free deal enabled me to add two dozen or so titles at around $10-$11 each. I also purchased some of the UK Warner titles such as Poltergeist, How the West Was Won, Bonnie & Clyde and the Dirty Harry Collection to avoid the digi-books and hokey box sets. But recently I have begun to warm up a bit to the digi-books since purchasing One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus for $14.99 at Best Buy. My Region-Free Import List:
  1. Bonnie & Clyde
  2. Children of Men
  3. Dirty Harry
  4. Magnum Force
  5. The Enforcer
  6. The Dead Pool
  7. Sudden Impact
  8. Sophie Scholl
  9. Downfall
  10. The Devil's Own
  11. In the Line of Fire
  12. The Island
  13. How the West Was Won
  14. Poltergeist
  15. Company of Wolves
  16. Boys From Brazil
  17. Death and Life of Bobby Z
  18. Rollerball
  19. Made of Honour
  20. Catch and Release
  21. Mona Lisa Smile
  22. Erin Brockovich
  23. Man On Fire
  24. The Pink Panther (1963)
  25. Raging Bull
  26. Perfect Stranger
  27. Tekkonkinkreet
  28. Paprika
  29. Little Miss Sunshine
  30. Almost Famous
  31. Anger Management
  32. Reign Over Me
  33. Pursuit of Happyness
  34. ABBA: The Movie
  35. Bruce Almighty
  36. The Bone Collector
  37. Cinderella Man
  38. Equilibrium
  39. Face Off
  40. Final Fantasy
  41. Flatliners
  42. First Knight
  43. Legend of Zorro
  44. Great Expectations
  45. Black Narcissus
  46. The Seventh Seal
  47. Paranoid Park
  48. Maximum Risk
  49. The Machinist
  50. Lucky Number Slevin
  51. The Omen trilogy
  52. The Planet of the Apes: 40 Year Evolution
  53. The Replacement Killers
  54. Seraphim Falls
  55. Scary Movie 4
  56. Thirteen Ghosts
  57. Welcome to the Jungle (a.k.a. The Rundown)
  58. Zulu

I made a mistake in my vote.... approaching 10% of my collection.

In a few cases I actually prefer the import cover art over the domestic release because of the use of original theatrical art...even with the ratings symbols emblazoned on the them:

My percentage of imports is almost 10% (20 titles). The actual size of my collection (owned) is really 235, not 366 that is indicated in my profile. I created a couple of custom wishlist catagories for my blu-rays but I'm unable to make them not count towards the 'owned' total.

Default A trend

Well it seems to ba a trend, I posted the same pole and another forum (hehum) and the results are very similar so I guess it's pretty scientific.

Thanks all

Almost half. I own 78 BDs, 38 of those are imports (from the US), the rest are Region B.

90% are US imports, but increasingly I'm buying UK discs as prices are dropping.
