I think the UK 1080p blu ray set confirms that it’s 1 bonus disc per film.

Really hoping Disney doesn't use those same quiet audio tracks they seem to be including on most of their movies lately, can't stand how quiet TLJ is. |

In reality, it’s just a marketing term for Episode 1-9. The title "The Skywalker Saga" doesn’t really make any sense anyway so there’s no real point giving it any meaning. ![]() |

Anyway, I think they will release the original theatrical Star Wars trilogy when George Lucas is in his grave. That might take a while. |

Disney owns Star Wars. They could release the original versions tomorrow if they wanted. So, let's not give them a complete pass. Lucas has no real say in the matter now.
I think they prefer the revised versions because the CG, grain reduction, and altered colors make it look more modern, thus fitting in with the other episodes. And if you doubt they would care about having a slick, digital look, check out what they did to the early MCU films in 4K. Last edited by gnicks; 12-19-2019 at 07:04 PM. |

One thing that I'm pretty shocked about with this release is the fact they don't seem to want to milk this for all its worth. Say for example the MCU we got the standard releases including 4k, steelbooks. Then phase boxsets then the complete infinity saga collection where as here they don't seem to be going along that path even in the UK. There's no individual 4k releases or 4k steelbooks, no sequel trilogy boxset. Just the Skywalker saga boxset and that's it lol. I mean I'm assuming they might come later on but it seems slightly redundant releasing them after releasing a big boxset with all 9 films in.
