As this is only a problem with films in 2.40.1 ratios, I see no rush. My Sky box outputs at 1080i, no stretching, PS3 upscales DVD's to the right ratio's and quality, and all my blu Rays are 1.78.1 ratio. Are there even that many DVD's with 2.40.1? Seems stupid as it'd be the same display, but 2.40.1 just adds black bars to get a bit more width in.
