Here are the eligible titles:

Warner 3 for $35 4K:
-Argo
-Central Intelligence
-The Great Gatsby
-I Am Legend
-In the Heart of the Sea
-King Arthur
-The Legend of Tarzan
-The Lego Movie
-Man of Steel
-The Matrix
-Oceans 8
-Point Break
-Ready Player One
-Superman: The Movie
-The Town
-Unforgiven
Me, too. Bought digital copy of Argo for $5 last week. I have Unforgiven and RPO, but the two Superman discs and Argo would have been a sweet deal. Sigh.

Reminds me of 2001 which also has some similar artefacts when zoomed in by a stupid amount but in motion there's nada. It's better if we don't have things like this happen at all, granted, but those macroblocks themselves are very small so there are bigger encoding injustices on UHD to worry about.

I wouldn't say it's the most amazing upgrade out there over the BD remaster, but it's definitely better. Probably Goodfellas level, if that means anything to you.

I agree. The UHD is worth having for the climax at the saloon alone. It is the first time that I feel I can actually see everything that is going on there AND have blacks still be black at the same time.

Just watched this for the first time after a blind buy, and loved it. I really enjoyed the pacing of the movie, and how it was carried along by dialogue and character development. Can anyone recommend some other westerns along these same lines? I really enjoyed the Magnificent 7, while Tombstone was just okay to me

Which Magnificent 7 did you see? The Brynner or the Denzel one? (Both are entertaining in their own ways but the Brynner/McQueen one is better.)

The 3:10 to Yuma remake, True Grit remake, and Appaloosa are probably a good starting point in terms of modern Westerns. Going further back, there are plenty to choose from. The Searchers should be at the top of your list.

Not entirely modern but more recent.

Even if you aren't at a viewing distance to see the fine details 4K brings out. You can certainly still perceive all the background detail from the enhanced details. The UHD is overall a win win.

Though the criticisms brought forward by members about the transfer is invaluable for the community. Keeps the studios on their toes.

I saw the Denzel one, but will def check out the older version. I forgot I've also seen 3:10 to Yuma and really enjoyed that one as well.

It's not a movie but if you haven't seed Deadwood, you should stick it on the list.

McCabe & Mrs.Miller, The Hired Hand, Little Big Man, Bad Company, The Ox Bow Incident, My Darling Clementine, The Shootist, Terror In A Texas Town, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The Tin Star (the 1957 film, not that other TV show), The Tall T, High Noon, Man Of The West, The Furies (highly complex film about the nature of land ownership) The Violent Men (a 50s Western that focuses heavily on male emotional weakness)

Have any of your copies (for the ones that bought it recently) included the digital copy?

Bought mine for the BB sale and it didn't had it and Warner told me that the wouldn't issue one for this reason:

"The Digital Copy offer is intended to be available only for a limited time following the initial release of the DVD/Blu-ray disc, we are unable to issue you a new redemption code."

Picked up a copy at Best Buy earlier this week. It did include a code slip, I expected it to be invalid as it was way past the expiration date but it redeemed fine.

Yeah, but the person is asking if people have bought the discs and it had a digital code. They weren’t asking if they expired.

The first editions with slipcover had a digital copy as it’s inclusion was printed on the slipcover itself. Subsequent (slipless) versions have not included them.

How could you already have the remastered Blu-ray? It was my understanding that the one included in the 4k set hasn't been available separately.
