It's driving me out of my mind, esp for the price they're charging, and it's very noticeable in person. They used too strong and too much glue.

Me too, is it so wrong to just love all nine movies?

As for this box set it is frustrating to see so many extras missing from previous releases. Of all the movies in the world these nine will in my opinion never see a definitive home release. Which is a shame but Lucasfilm know I will keep buying them regardless!

Mine actually just came off all by itself. I didn't try to remove it straight away, but just flipped the back of it over when I pulled the box out. After having done that a few times it eventually just detached itself and left no mark.

Could be forever no time limit was given but it seems to be exclusive to a particular retailer in each country (US - Best Buy/UK - Amazon/Australia - JB Hifi)

I've already pre-ordered the individual releases for the PT (and about to do the same for Rogue One when the price drops a little). It's a shame TPM doesn't look like it is supposed to but I still want it. The OT on UHD on the other hand, I'm not so sure if I still want that judging from what I saw on D+.
I might grab Episode I just for the audio upgrade, I remember that movie sounding fantastic in the theater and also on laserdisc. The only OT film I bought was ESB and yeah, it looks like the D+ version. The lack of grain was very distracting to me. Gonna sell that one off soon. Definitely want Rogue One and Force Awakens.

Can anyone confirm which image quality is better between the last jedi? The older version or the newer release in the box set?

Same.

I exchanged my set bc of that and a page wasn’t sealed to hold two discs correctly.

Set 2 still gave me the glue stain - even after trying to remove SO slow and gingerly. It’s at least smaller and closer to the top.

Some of the eBay sellers are putting up listing for pre orders for May 4th, probably the Italian based on the cover. I suspect UK will follow suit, nearer the end of the month hopefully the individuals will pop up on Amazon.

Italian releases have been available to pre-order for a month or so, don’t expect any UK releases of the films individually anytime soon, had they been on the cards they would have been announced along with the Skywalker Saga and TROS releases.

Just think of it as a really wide shot of the Death Star pulling the Millennium Falcon in with its tractor beam.

I don't find them washed out, smudgy or DNR infested at all.

Ok yes the grain is a bit too managed in some shots but for the most part, the transfers are top notch.

The previous transfers are way too jacked up. Really digital looking.

Not only that but they're more processed as well.

Whatever grain is still on those scans is a mushy, soupy mess. Not to mention the ugly sharpening as well.

To each their own I guess.

I think you're probably right about May as there should be some sign by now but maybe September for kids back to school, despite them not going I guess.

That would be my estimate.

They will arrive eventually but as with the MCU films it will be completely at random when they appear.

If you can wait, chances are it will go on sale May 4th (“Star Wars Day”).
