Since we had a side-discussion of 70mm films, it seems worthwhile to supply this link to films shot in 70mm (which includes 65mm films).

To my surprise, The Music Man was not on this list. Further research at imdb.com shows it was shot in Technirama (35mm horizontal), which puts it somewhere between 35mm(vertical) and 70mm, akin to VistaVision. So we also have lists for Technirama films and VistaVision films.

If you want to dive into all film types, see here.

I think that ROLLERBALL (1975) was another 70mm blow-up from 35mm.

They are the same thing, actually. The camera negative is 65mm; the release prints are 70mm.

Coming to DVD and Blu-ray June 2nd from Kino Lorber!

Two films from the brilliant young Russian director Kantemir Balagov!

Beanpole (2019)

"Dazzling" - The New York Times

In post-WWII Leningrad, two women, Iya and Masha (astonishing newcomers Viktoria Miroshnichenko and Vasilisa Perelygina), intensely bonded after fighting side by side as anti-aircraft gunners, attempt to readjust to a haunted world. As the film begins, Iya, long and slender and towering over everyone—hence the film’s title—works as a nurse in a shell-shocked hospital, presiding over traumatized soldiers. A shocking accident brings them closer and also seals their fates. The 28-year-old Russian director Kantemir Balagov won Un Certain Regard’s Best Director prize at the Cannes Film Festival for this richly burnished, occasionally harrowing rendering of the persistent scars of war

Special features:
*New interview with director Kantemir Balagov
*Trailers

Tesnota (2017)

Tesnota (aka Closeness) is the incendiary debut feature from Kantemir Balagov (Beanpole).

1998, Nalchik, the North Caucasus, Russia. 24-year-old Ilana works in her father’s garage to help him make ends meet. One evening, her extended family and friends gather to celebrate the engagement of her younger brother David. Later that night, the young couple is kidnapped, and a ransom demand delivered. In this close-knit Jewish enclave, involving the police is out of the question. How will the family raise the money to save David? Ilana and her parents, each in their own way, will go as far as necessary, whatever the risks to themselves.

Coming June 16 from Scorpion Releasing!
Distributed by Kino Lorber!

The Sailor Who Fell from Grace with the Sea (1976)
• Brand New 2019 HD Scan of the Original Camera Negative
• NEW Interview with Star Sarah Miles
• NEW Interview with Writer/Director Lewis John Carlino
• NEW Interviews with Crew Members Anthony Wayne, Robin Vidgeon, Graham Attwood and Hugh Harlow
• Optional English Subtitles
• Dual-Layered BD50 Disc

Obsession and fate collide in one of the most controversial, provocative films ever made. The arrival of rugged American sailor Jim (Kris Kristofferson, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid, Vigilante Force) brings joy and sensual fulfillment to English widow Anne Osborne (Sarah Miles, Ryan’s Daughter, Steaming), but her young son is disturbed by this new intruder and joins in with a perverse group of fellow students. With its disturbing ending and frank love scenes, this stylish adaptation of the novel by legendary writer Yukio Mishima has become a timeless classic. Screenplay and direction by Lewis John Carlino (The Great Santini), cinematography by Douglas Slocombe (Raiders of the Lost Ark) and music score by Johnny Mandel (M*A*S*H).

Hmmm...this was put out previously by Shout Factory and owned by its Westchester Films division...did you make a deal with Shout on this one, or did it revert back to StudioCanal?

It's a Scorpion release. Walt has licenced titles from Shout in the past (particularly ITV ones), so likely made the deal with them.

The text above states "original camera negative," so I assume that implies that this will be uncut.

We have no more Delon or Belmondo titles to announce at this time.

Will there be a sale on those specific titles forthcoming? IIRC there was one for the first batch, so curious if there'll be for the second (and remnants of the first).

The first batch of titles are at those sale prices permanently now, so I think they'll just be adding more titles to that group.

How do I find the OOP items? Is there a way to isolate them on the KL website?
