Thanks for the tips on these, I picked them up from B&N. Props.

The best value when it comes to owning these is via the Ultimate Gangsters collection, which also includes The Public Enemy and White Heat, along w/a bonus disc of extras, a nice booklet and purty, sturdy hardbox slip.

It's currently $31.96 on Amazon.

Remember we live a specific difficult time for several months now. Seing discs starting to be scarce and harder to find seems totally normal as an effect of broken chains of supply and all things being slow.
I would take any OOP info with a grain of salt at the moment unless it comes direct from companies which released the said discs (like Shout Factory or Fox for instance).

Highly doubt it. It just came out last June. That one is most likely just out of stock at the moment.

Is there a friendly-ish list of Fox titles on Blu-ray?

There's this, but at 2400 UPCs it's hard to go through
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?studioid=1&

While I doubt everything will go out of print, I'm sure there's gonna be some major fallout.

Maybe at the very least buy the R rated titles in case Disney tries to add revisionist censoring to them if they're re-released at some point.

It'd be helpful if they let you filter out multiples, like retail exclusive versions, and titles you own... but I looked through it recently, it didn't really take that long, it just was tedious. If there's any TV shows I bet those will go OOP eventually because Disney was the only studio worse than Fox for TV on BD.

People may need to consider looking through Paramount as well, in case what they want becomes BD-R.

I have Strangers, but never got around to getting a copy of Postman. But I do have it on DVD, and that's good enough for me until WAC re-releases it on Blu (if they ever do).

Doubtful, as it only came out less than a year ago (2019 06 11). It's still available on Shout's website.

On edit: Oops. darkness 2918 beat me to it (other than my link to Shout).

Well, certainly not "everything" will go out of print. Disney will no doubt keep certain popular franchise titles in print (Star Wars, Alien/Predator, Avatar), and well-known classics with lots of playablilty -- especially family-friendly playability -- like The Sound of Music and Miracle on 34th Street.

If any other catalog stuff is kept in print, I suspect that it most likely will be repressings (rebranded or not) of extant releases through the Disney Movie Club or something of that sort.

As for your request for a list, the one you posted would only be ones issued by Fox themselves. In the Twilight Time thread, I've posted a list of the Fox titles they've done here. Any that are OOP already might be available from another country.

I known that Dailyan has posted a list of Fox releases from UK label Eureka, but I don't have a link to it right now.

And here is a link to a posting by the Kino Lorber Insider at Home Theater Forum breaking down Kino releases by studio. Fox is the second studio in the list, after a loooong list of MGM titles.

Pardon the stupid question, but is there a Fox bluray master list? Something we can look at to grab the titles we want before the purge...?

edit: sorry didn't see the question was asked shortly before...

Is Crumb (Criterion) OOP? The Amazon listing is high, and I can't find it for sale anywhere else. (I bought it when it was released but I'm curious.)

Barnes and Noble has it in stock around msrp for anyone looking. Perhaps others have a better idea if it's just a temporary stocking issue or otherwise.

Yes. For example, back in early April I noticed that the Dan in Real Life (New) BD from Disney was sold out at all the US retailers I checked: Amazon, Wal-Mart, BB, Target, B&N, Deep Discount, Family Video, etc. I finally found it New at Bullmoose, and ordered from them, but the next day they sent me this message:

Quote:
Hello,
This item is out of stock at all of our vendors. We will attempt a back order but cannot give an ETA or guarantee it will fill. We apologize for the ambiguity. We will keep trying to get it and you can cancel at any time if need be. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.
Thank you
Based on all of this, it seemed 100% that this title was OOP. However, it suddenly did come back, at Amazon and Deep Discount, and Bullmoose then delivered my order. So obviously it was a supply issue, but not OOP, and I'm thankful I didn't mention it here.
