Bruce Campbell Vs. the Army of Darkness is definitely up there. I know it doesn't have a vs. in its title, but would the Kill Bill series count? If it does, those are my favorite "vs." films.

i know the critics all hate that movie but i like it... and that's what count for me so.. that movie is:

ballistic- ecks vs. sever

Sorry to be the killjoy but, knowing that this thread was not designed to capture actual art like KRAMER VS. KRAMER, I think this brand of film represents the absolute, catering-to-13-year-old-fanboys, nadir of the entire craft of cinema.

I actually like that movie. I would have to say my current favorite Vs. movie is Freddy vs. Jason.

Jason vs Freddy was very funny.

Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla II is one of my favorites.

King Kong vs Godzilla brings back memories. I was watching it with some buddies in college oh so many years ago and we were sharing a fifth of Jaeg. One was pretty lit and when they air lifted Kong and dropped him on Godzilla, my buddy yelled out "droppin' apes on yo ass beatch!" I can't see that scene without chuckling to this day.

Over here it was called Le Mans '66. Apart from that, i'd go with Freddy Vs Jason, not many others on my radar. AvP's singular highlight is the smackdown between the titular characters. Apart from that it's dreck...
