Yeah def think Rear Window is one of his best - The scene where Raymond Burr suddenly realises whats going on and slowly looks across to Stewart is pure cinema gold.

Oh and sorry about the spelling but thats how we spell it here im afraid

My top 3:

1) Psycho

2) Dial M for Murder

3) Rear Window

Least Favorite: Vertigo. Yes, that's right, my least favorite is a film generally considered his best! I just really did not like it.

Pretty much ALL of his films, and his "...Presents" TV show. One of the best directors, EVER!

Lets see......

Rear Window or North By Northwest.

But I will say that Notorious is a close third. Others that are great are : Rebecca, Strangers on a Train, The Trouble with Harry, Vertigo, Rope 39 Steps, The Lady Vanishes, Spellbound and The Man Who Knew Too Much.

I thought everything after Psycho in 60 was blah including The Birds.

Yeah got to agree with all of them and I also forgot Foreign correspondent which is probably up there with his best work.

Rear Window (THE classic IMO)
however, Rope was amazing, a cinematic feat, and entertainingly tense story.....

Totally agree. If you liked the long takes in "Children of Men", this is an entire movie filled with them. I think it's his most technically amazing film.
