I just read up on it, after the court case, he did want to return but the producers wanted a 4 to 5 film commitment from him. As much as I would have loved to see another film with Dalton, a four to five picture contract would have him playing the role until he was almost 60. I can understand why he opted out.

Not really. Pre-production was already underway on Dalton's third Bond film, tentatively titled "The Property of a Lady" with a storyline involving the Hong Kong handover, when the court case hit and cancelled the production.

Under the terms of his original contract, had there been no court case, Dalton's third Bond movie would have come out in 1991 and he probably would have done a fourth released in 1993 before his contract expired.

Anyone know if they are rereleasing the bond films for the new upcoming movie? I have Connery, Moore, Bronson, Craig collection movies and would love to add the Lazenby and Dalton but heir so hard to find. I also need that case like the others.

Dont know. I was hoping they would come out with a steelbook for every Bond film. Unfortunately it is starting to look like they wont even come out with a complete collection box set like they usually do for every new movie release. If they dont release steelbooks for every Bond film I am going to buy individual blu ray cases and print off the blu ray art for the first 20 Bond films. I have that cheap white collection box set but I am not a fan of the Craig era. Those new 4k Craig Bond steelbooks designs are getting a lot of hate on here, but I say if that is how minimalist and simple the designs have to be to get all Bond movies on steelbook then so be it. They still look better than that cheap white collection box set.

Wondering if there will be a new box set coming soon. I have a good amount of the individual releases but am missing like ten of them. It seems like a lot of them have gone up in price so it isn’t even really worth hunting them down separately. A new box set with the films containing the films through Craig’s run and after the twenty-fifth film would be a good set to release I would think.

They really ought to release the full collection in 4K, or at least split across three or four actor sets. However, so far there’s no sign they actually will do that. I really hope they do.

I have all the pre-Skyfall DVDs and the Craig ones in Blu Ray and 4K UHD but don’t intend to buy Blu Rays for the rest knowing they have 4K transfers ready.

This site supposedly has all the Bond dvd and blu ray covers from the past available for printout. Hopefully it works. I will just buy the blank amaray cases and insert the printouts since I already have the discs

I was enjoying them. I don't see the need to stop just because of ONE whiny poster who won't let it go.

Theve been messy before. AKA Miramax distribution rights owned by 3 studios in ten years and morgan creek WB titles re released by Fox. Fox titles rereleased and now owned by Disney
