Chinatown is one of my top 20 all time favorite films. I've given The Two Jakes a couple tries but just couldn't get into it sadly. It just drags and drags. It's such a bummer that Polanski didn't return to direct and that The Two Jakes had such a troubled production which most likely didn't help the final product. I'll give it a third try (hopefully third time's a charm) before this blu ray comes out. I would've loved to have seen the Jake Gittes trilogy completed if Two Jakes would've been a success. Then again we wouldn't have the superb Who Framed Roger Rabbit? then! The Two Jakes does have one of my all time favorite movie cover artworks though with it's original theatrical cover.
