Not sure how i feel about this announcement. I like the film but not sure i like it enough to upgrade to the UHD.

If they are paying for an Atmos remix, then I wonder if they just "borrowed" the entire SC video encode to cut down on costs.

Guess that confirms the included Blu-ray is at least a new pressing, but I'm hopeful it's going to include a remaster.

Edit: They confirmed. Blu-ray also has the new scan.

They confirmed in a reply to that very question on Facebook that the included Blu will feature a 1080p version of the 4k scan.

I like the Shout packaging better than the UK release but I can't start double dipping on 4K. I'm sure the encode will be similar or identical and that's what counts.

This is a film where the concept is probably better than the execution but it’s still entertaining. Will pick up for a reasonable price
