I can't remember the very first Hammer film I saw, but I'm old enough to recall the BBC2 horror double-bills from the 70's and early 80's. They used to feature both American and British horror movies, including the Hammer films, and it was here where I would have seen them. As a horror fan from an early age, this was my weekend treat.

The blu-ray release of Dr. Terror's House of Horrors which I have is by Screenbound, however on Amazon UK at the moment, it's only showing up as a DVD. The blu-ray they currently have in stock has a different cover, so I don't know if it's the same label. This is the one I have:

Only just found out in the last few days that there is a German Blu-ray release of Dr. Terror's House of Terrors, and apparently there are some differences with the transfer and running time, compared to Screenbound's release (haven't yet checked if there is a thread in the Germany sub-forum).
