Yeah maybe Miles will discuss time travel some more and rehash "what ever happened, happened" and its corollary "what ever will happpen, will happen." I really dislike this concept of time travel, sorry Stephie, xtop tilapiah and the Others.
[Show spoiler] If "what ever happened, happened", WEH2, it follows that the future is also fixed, no deviations are allowed. Say you are back in 1954, and it is current time, suddenly some people from the future appear, and tell you to bury that H-bomb under a lot of concrete. Since that has to happen from now on, WEH2, then the future people also have to exist and visit you in exactly that same manner, "what ever will happen, will happen", WEWHWH [Show spoiler] . So if the past is fixed and the future is fixed what's the point in time travel? ![]() |

You can jump forwards and backwards in time all you want but can't change anythign that happened or will happen because the timeline is fixed and if you move forward or back it's all a part of the story. There are paradoxes but I think that's only when two of the same things occupy the same space in time. i.e. the two bunnies. It makes time travel and time very simple and complicated at the same time. I love it. |

i was thinking...we all know the series has this season and one more to go before it finishes. the writers are finally answering the questions of the show. But what if the writers werent tied to wrapping up the show in one more season? Where do you think we would be in the storyline now? Would we even be past the time jumping, or even further back (no pun intended)

This is my take on what the seasons so far has been their purpose been: Season 1 - Introducing Front Half of Plane Season 2 - Introducing Second Half of Plane Season 3 - Introducing The Others Season 4 - Introducing Charles Widmore Season 5 - Introducing The Dharma Initiative I wonder what the theme for Season 6 will be. I'm guessing: Season 6 - Introducing The Island/Jacob |

[Show spoiler] I get the feeling that when Daniel went and told Desmond that he needs to go see his mom, that there's a note to himself reminding him to tell Desmond that. I really think Daniel's notebook is from himself and he gives it to Ellie to give to him. |

A lil off topic but dooes anyone else think there is any significance to Locke's shoes? Alright hear me out... Jack got the shoes from his grandfather because he didn't give his father a pair of shoes when he died. Well he puts em on Locke when he's in the coffin. But what I thought was weird was that after rewatching "Dead is Dead" today, I noticed when Locke and Ben take the canoe, Locke makes sure to be seen putting his shoes in a backpack, then when they dock at Dharmaville, they feel the need to show you that Locke waits, takes the shoes back outta the bag and puts em on. But Ben just has his on the whole time.
It might seem like something small and inferior but maybe it has to do with John's new knowledge of the island and now knowing that Christian is Jack's father. |

+1 on claire being dead, someone on here brought up the quote from Miles about "I'm Ok"-claire "Aaah I'm not so sure" -Miles (along those lines) after the DI house explosion, so claire's dead, ghost whisper said it himself ![]() |

If Claire was dead, then why would everyone still be able to see and hear her? We know Miles can talk to dead people but I dont remember him ever seeing them. But then of course John Locke died and now everyone can see and talk to him. I'm so confused.

I'm very interested to see what's up with Miles tonight. He's by far the least developed of all the regulars on the show. They've teased us with glimpses of his ability to speak with the dead, but we've never seen his significance yet. And the very real possibility that he's Dr. Candle's son adds to the intrigue. It should be a good one tonight!
(NOTE: I know that Dr. Candle is just one of several fake names he used in the videos, but he'll always be Dr. Candle to me! ![]() |

People have been seeing dead people on the island since season 1. We don't know why that is exactly or what the nature of these "ghosts" is, but it's certainly nothing new.

and Miles and Juilette are two people that really know more about whats happening then there letting anyone know
![]() and you'd think Juilette would have told (young bald Locke, lol) Sawyer more about what she knows given their living together for 3 years and seem in love, thats a little strange, she holding something back big time another note: thinking about the time wheel, if there is something on the Island a "tool", that can control time and space, could there be a "tool" on the Island used to give and take life, only other logical thing right? ![]() |

I don't think Jack ever got nookie on the island. It wasn't until after they got back to LA that him and Kate hooked up. |

They were definately more than 'just friends' on the island before they left. Sure they didn't show any sex scenes or what have you, but they definately indicated that something was going on between them. I just figured that she got with Sawyer as a slap in the fact to Jack as they were basically opposites from day 1 on the island. |

hahah lol what a left turn these last posts have been, but I'll second Ben wanted juilette, not the other way around, closest Ben ever been to nookie is sticking his hand down that hole to release the water lol, ...might be yet another reason for his cheery personality lol
