The MSRP is $39.99 CAD for the Remote.

So this seller is trying to get double that.

Been playing 2017’s Battlefront 2.

I just noticed the games UI matches the color of the DualSense button layout.

"Oh, so Sony lied again and the fans will eventually get loud if I play for long periods, so Sony will have to fix it via a firmware update. Pre-order cancelled! Buying a Series X!"

Just imagining a possible tweet from somebody after they read that. Not something I actually believe.

Interesting to hear Sony will track the PS5's cooling fan to determine if it's to be used more or not depending on each game heating up the console.

That's cool.

Derb, do you think Battlefront 1 on PS4 at 900p resolution, will upgrade smoothly and convincingly to 1080p or 4K when installed onto PS5 at 60 fps? I hope so and expect an improvement in resolution automatically, even if Dice EA doesn't offer an update for PS5.

I'm just glad I pre ordered online this year. At the rate we are going all non food retail stores will be shut come launch day.

We're going back in to a full on lockdown here in Wales from 18:00 Friday for two weeks, at this rate no one will be picking up in store pre orders

So, if we pre-ordered from Best Buy online, and we among the first units that go out, you think it's safe to assume we'll get them on launch day?

It will be interesting to see how GAME handle in store pre orders if we do go back into a full lockdown, maybe pay the outstanding balance off online and get delivery.

I have an order in store with them but also an online one with amazon, so hopefully I’ve covered myself.

If you are still in lockdown on launch day, at least what would make sense for them to do would be to do what you said. If not, then at least give everybody who pre-ordered the option to either keep it and wait or get a full refund.

You should be covered. The worst case scenario should be you may not get it on release day if Amazon there is like it is here (no promise of actually getting it on release day).

I'll be keeping my Amazon order. I don't trust Game at all to not screw something up. Amazon has a good history of delivering in the UK, it's much better than the service they offer in the US from what I hear. You can get same day delivery so I'm not concerned at all about getting it on the 19th.

At least for me, Amazon here was pretty good before the pandemic. I would almost always get pre-orders on release day. Now they only promise that on games and such here and there. Cyberpunk has it, but that seems to be almost it for all video games that I actually looked up. I could understand at the beginning of this when certain things were being prioritized, and I know things are getting bad again, but there's still no real excuse anymore honestly. I've had nothing but good experiences with importing Blu-rays from Amazon UK. Most games I buy now are from Best Buy, who still promises release day delivery.

Yeah I’m keeping my order with Amazon as well, probably the most likely place in the uk to deliver on time I hope!

Absolutely not.

Dice released the game in 2015 & never bothered to give the game an updated patch for PS4 Pro in 2016. They have all moved on away from Battlefront last Spring.

The PS5 might be able to brute force the game to 60fps. The game on PS4 Pro averages 50-55fps. As for visuals, expect the game to run in “Legacy” mode. (PS4) @ 900p

What are people doing with their PS4s? Gamestop is offering $175 credit for my Pro.

I may do it just because I hate dealing with the lowballers and scammers everywhere.

Putting the PS4 Pro in the bedroom with my 4K TV there. PS5 goes in the living room with my higher end 4K TV.

That is what I am doing and just putting the credit towards PS5 games.

Until I know I can play my precious, precious copy of PT on the PS5, the PS4 isn't going anywhere.

For the people hoping to keep their PT demo to play on PS5 "I'm afraid I've got some bad news"

They say it won't be downloadable on the Store, but that's to say anyone who already owns it won't be able to play it if they already have it downloaded on to USB drive. We will just have to wait and see.
