Hi all. first time poster. Working retail as well in electronics area alot of people come through asking about the difference. Just sold em 2 blu today both for panasonic plasma's. Since the blu-ray players have been out I have not to date sold a single HD dvd player. Its been either blu-ray or nada. Granted most of the sales were ps3's to parents so they could nail 2 things with one device. Kids get to play games. parents get to watch awesome movies. Just to state i don't bash HD dvd or anything. In fact i show them both. But i give them what is "MY" honest opinion on the matter and which would be better not just this year.. or next.. but 5-6 years down the road looking at specs, etc.
