Default *POLL* How many people have you converted to Blu?

I was curious to see how many people you've converted to Blu? I can't seem to do it. Guess all my friends are poor.

none
the peeps I know (and family) are stubborn and claim they can't see a difference between blu-ray and dvd, sucks

edit: I did have one friend blown away though, the others just shrugged their shoulders even after watching a movie like Casino Royale.

Sadly none. I do have a friend I'm slowly wearing down. He won't convert because he has a Xbox 360 and has no need for a PS3 and bought a really cheap HD DVD adapter for it so he buys the long dead HD DVD's because they're really cheap...

I have converted my brother that lives near me. That being said, he has purchased a player only. He hasn't even watched a movie on it yet! I hooked it up and hooked up a receiver, but he hadn't called Directv for his HD receiver so the tv hasn't been moved to the room the player is in. I guess I won the big battle and got him to buy a player. You have to take what you can get.

None but hopefully this holiday I can bring some over. The biggest draw back is the need for a 1080p tv a player and receiver and speakers to get the full benefits.Every one I know see and hear the difference but why should they pony up at least 2k for their own set up when they can mooch off of mine Its time to start charging admission

My in-laws just bought a Sony BRAVIA XBR 52" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV. They have no interest in anything HD. I just don't get it.

I converted 3 people so far.

2 are now PS3 owners, and 1 a standalone BDP-S300 (Not sure why he didn't wait for the 350 like I told him to)

My small town doesn't want to spend much money... and I don't want to recommend cheap but inept bluray players. That and most are pretty okay with SD.

My grandma has money and is considering going Blu.
