in general I am against bannings etc because the parents should know better and not buy such things and then we wouldn't have to ban or pull anything. people are buying this stuff for their kids

Exactly! Its not like the kids are literally purchasing them, but their parents are.

It is. I actually saw it on Nickelodeon early in the Morning on Saturday.

I wish they'd put this one on TV. Everyone would buy BK because it's so awesome.

Versus Barbie, which has been giving girls a rediculous body image message for 50 years?

Basically, she got a boob job for Ken.

If she were a real person, the original Barbie doll's measurements would have been an incredible 39-18-33. In response to criticism that these measurements might create unrealistic expectations for young girls to live up to, Mattel has since adjusted the chest measurement down and the waist measurement up.
So they have adjusted it since, but I know what you mean.

I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it...Who are they marketing too? Kids or adults. I'm not offended and don't really care one way or the other about the commercial but, did have a conversation with my girlfriend about the ridiculousness of it. Which, I guess is good for BK as it only leads to added exposure. BK has been having commercial issues lately anyway. Had a commercial pulled in Spain recently. When I heard about this, I thought it was the spongebob commerical here.

Haven't they been pulled? I thought the Barbie company successfully sued them for rights infringement and won? I guess I figured that was the end of Bratz. I completely agree with you though...

Oh man, the first time I saw this commercial, I almost died laughing It is friggin' hilarious when he puts the square on the one girls butt and then puts the big level on the two of them I still chuckle every time I see it.
