Ok I was just going based on your initial posting and didn't see anything there about original vs reprint or price you paid. You should contact them about a refund have them pay for return shipping, no sense for you to have something you aren't happy with. One of the problems with these places that aren't selling is licensed reproductions is the quality, sadly that stuff is a dime a dozen out there.

But said nothing about a return. It was shipped from China, so I don’t think it’s even worth it to them to pay the shipping charges on a $14 item. |

Didn't realize they were based in China, but no surprise they are printing the stuff up so its about as counterfeit as you can get, but at least you got a refund and can possibly find a better quality reprint out there.

Sounds like a US seller who orders them for cheap from overseas. Due to copyright laws a very risky thing to be selling, eventually studios will catch on.

Apologies if this has been discussed earlier in this thread but does anyone have any experience with privacy window film and its effects on collectibles? I've had my bedroom treated with this film (arthome 85% heat control and 98% UV filter) for almost a year now and I love it. I can definitely tell the difference particularly on temperature but I wonder if anyone here has had it for longer and has seen if it's good enough to protect from fading.

Mainly its the off-size, there are traditional more common sizes such as 13x19, 16x20, 18x24, 20x30, 24x36, 27x40, etc. When you get into mini posters or prints that are not the standard size per say, it can be difficult to find a frame for it but do a search online and if you come up empty, you may need to go with a professional framer.

Just wanted to mention that I will be receiving the bigger Baroque Portfolio Poster storage case for my birthday in March! I'm really excited to finally bring all of my posters that I have collected over the years into 1 area. I hope to one day build a professional looking home theater and display some of these posters. But for now, the portfolio will work beautifully!
I only have 1 poster that will not fit in the portfolio and that would be my Thor: Ragnarok IMAX poster that a friend of mine who worked at a movie theater won and gave to me. I probably will have to custom frame that one in the future! |

Art to Frame is a decent site for custom frames if you don't want to shell out for entirely custom local shops. Its pretty easy to use for odd size frames and there are always coupon codes you can find online to knock the price down. |

I've bought from Kinsella5 here on the forums in the past but I'm also lucky enough to have https://www.movieposters.com/ local to me... they do a pretty good job in their descriptions on whether their posters are reprints. EBay can be another source but a real crap shoot on whether you will get some authentic... my latest purchase off ebay was a Bruce Lee - Game of Death "Original" poster, I question that, but I haven't had enough 70's posters through my hands to be a good judge.
Beyond that there are handful of other dedicated poster sites out there but I've never bought from them... oh... if you want Disney posters the https://www.disneymovieinsiders.com is a great way to get authentic posters. |
